A dedicated leader and lifelong resident, Percy Robinson has served as Mayor since 2006, bringing decades of experience and unwavering commitment to our community. His leadership has been instrumental in numerous improvements, including the construction of a Police Department, a modern Wastewater Treatment Facility, purchase of new police cars, and the installation of sewer systems, fire hydrants, sidewalks, and planters.

Percy served as an Agricultural Assistant with the Extension Service and has a distinguished military career. He mobilized during Operation Desert Storm with the 155th Mechanized Infantry and deployed in 2004 as a Command Sergeant Major with the 155th Armored Brigade, 2nd Battalion, 114th Field Artillery Regiment. His service reflects his dedication, discipline, and patriotism.

He was a longtime commissioner of the McComb Recreation Departmentโs Peewee League in the 1980s and served as a Peewee football coach. First elected to the town council in 1989, he served four terms before becoming Mayor following the death of former Mayor Charles Carter.

Percy is married to Georgia Robinson. Together, they have two sons, Calvin and Dexter, and are proud grandparents to three grandchildren.
